FAQs
Bill Gates meditates for 10 minutes 3 times a week. Gates says
“meditation is simply exercise for the mind, similar to the way we exercise our muscles when we play sports. For me, it has nothing to do with faith or mysticism. It’s about taking a few minutes out of my day, learning how to pay attention to the thoughts in my head, and gaining a little bit of distance from them'“

What is meditation?
Meditation is being present. Not following or resisting thoughts. We use an ‘anchor’ such as the breath, to guide the focus of the mind. There is no aim. Nothing to fix or change.
What types of meditation do you teach?
Awareness of breath - strengthen concentration and sharpen the memory.
Walking meditation - improves focus, clarity and memory.
Choiceless awareness - opens us up to curiosity and insights.
what are the benefits?
Being able to pause and be present can be difficult for those with high levels of responsibility. The racing mind never rests which is an advantage for the most part. This pause, is what we teach you to access, when ever you like, using our techniques.
Are classes and sessions like therapy?
Traditional talk therapy can be very helpful and Mindfulness and Meditation runs along side traditional therapy perfectly. Our greatest gift comes from our deepest pain. We know that understanding ourselves is the path to making our mind work for us, instead of against us.
Tell me more about confidentiality?
We know that open vulnerability is not an option for some of our clients. We believe that no-one other than you will understand your life. No-one but you holds the answers. You’re irreplaceable in your field and in your family. You’re the expert in making decisions about how to best manage your time and enjoy your life.
We are with our minds all day and all night. We can learn to sit with ourselves and fortify the natural gifts of our mind. Enhancing insight and clarity is an inside job with the meditation styles we teach.
